Terms and Conditions for Hotel President Website & Online Payments

Welcome to Hotel President, Jalandhar (“Hotel”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website, making a reservation, or completing an online payment, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, making a reservation, or completing a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions along with our Privacy, Cancellation and Refund Policies.

2. Hotel Booking Services

The website facilitates reservations for rooms and other hospitality services offered by Hotel President, Jalandhar.

All reservations are subject to availability, applicable tariffs and confirmation by the Hotel.

Hotel President reserves the right to refuse, modify or cancel a reservation in case of incorrect pricing, technical errors, suspected fraudulent activity, non-availability of rooms/services, or violation of hotel policies.

3. Pricing & Taxes

• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
• Applicable GST, government taxes, levies and other statutory charges will be charged as per prevailing regulations.

4. Payment Terms

• Online payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment gateways.
• The guest authorises payment of the amount shown while completing the reservation.
• Hotel President shall not be responsible for payment failures caused by banks, payment gateways, internet/network disruptions, incorrect information entered by the customer, or other circumstances beyond the Hotel's reasonable control.

5. Booking Confirmation

• A reservation shall be considered confirmed only after confirmation is issued by Hotel President.
• Guests are requested to verify the guest name, stay dates, room category, tariff and other reservation details immediately after receiving the confirmation.
• Any discrepancy should be reported to the Hotel at the earliest.

6. Check-In & Check-Out

• Guests must provide a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in.
• Foreign nationals may be required to present a valid passport and visa as per applicable Indian regulations.
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.s
• The Hotel reserves the right to deny accommodation where valid identification is not provided or hotel policies and applicable laws are not complied with.

7. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation requests should be communicated to Hotel President through the authorised booking channel, email, telephone or other designated communication channel.
• Free cancellation is permitted up to 24 hours prior to the applicable check-in time/date, unless different conditions are specifically mentioned in the booking confirmation.
• Cancellations received within 24 hours of check-in and no-shows may attract applicable retention/cancellation charges.
• Promotional, special-rate and non-refundable reservations may have separate cancellation conditions as communicated at the time of booking.

8. Refund Policy

• Where a refund is applicable, it will normally be processed through the original mode of payment.
• Actual credit of the refund may depend upon the processing timelines of the bank, card issuer or payment gateway.
• Payment gateway/convenience charges and other non-refundable charges, where applicable and legally permissible, may be deducted.

9. Guest Responsibilities

• Guests are responsible for providing accurate and complete information while making a reservation.
• Guests must comply with Hotel President's rules, safety requirements and applicable laws during their stay.
• Any damage caused to hotel property by a guest may be charged to the guest as applicable.

10. Website Usage

Users must not use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, attempt unauthorised access to hotel systems or data, introduce malicious software, or interfere with the normal operation of the website.

11. Payment Security

Online transactions may be handled by authorised payment service providers using appropriate security measures.

Hotel President does not ordinarily store complete debit/credit card information on its own systems where such information is handled directly by the authorised payment gateway.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under applicable law, Hotel President shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Any liability relating directly to a confirmed reservation shall be subject to applicable law and the specific terms under which the reservation was made.

13. Force Majeure

Hotel President shall not be responsible for delay, cancellation or inability to provide services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, epidemics/pandemics, civil disturbances, power failures, internet/network outages or other force majeure events.

14. Intellectual Property

The Hotel President name, logo, photographs, website content, graphics and other proprietary material displayed on the website may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without prior written permission from Hotel President.

15. Privacy

Personal information provided while making reservations, enquiries or payments will be handled in accordance with Hotel President's Privacy Policy and applicable Indian laws.

Information may be shared with authorised service providers where reasonably necessary for processing reservations, payments or providing hotel services, or where disclosure is required by law.

Hotel President reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
